Mandate of KVK

Services at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Organize "On and Off campus training" for the farmers and farm women for generating awareness and enhancing of their agricultural knowledge. Organize front line demonstration (OFTs) on various crops to generate production data and feedback information. Conducting on farm testing for identifying technologies in terms of location specific sustainable land use system. Organize short and long term vocational training for the farmers and farm women for higher production on farm and generating self employment. Diagnosis of diseases and pest of crops by scientist. Selling good quality seeds, planting material, seedling of various vegetable crops and vermi compost. Analysis of soil and water samples at KVK laboratory. Updating knowledge of farmers by sending Agro SMS to the farmers with the help of e_connectivity center. Telephonic helpline available for the farmers.
